There is plenty to do around here apart from just soaking up the sun and taking a plunge in the ocean to cool off. The National Forest starts at the end of our drive. There you can spend many hours walking through a delightful landscape. There are a few horse riding centers near us where you can go on an outing and enjoy our wonderful countryside from horseback.
There are 2 Championship Golf Courses within 10 minutes drive from Quinta Daeg. There are countless tennis courts to choose from and lessons to improve ones game are usually available. The Lagos Zoo is just around the corner and 2 water theme parks are less than 30 minutes by car away from our farm.
We are surrounded on 3 sides by ocean and this is reflected in the countless activities available. Such as Bar-B-Q cruises, grotto trips, dolphin watching, sailing with or without crew, big game fishing, scuba diving, kayak tours, water skiing, etc, etc. Then there are all those wonderful sandy beaches to discover.
All during the summer there are fairs, festivals and music events in Lagos (10 km). There is also a Mediaeval Festival in Silves. The gypsy market visits Lagos on the first Saturday of every month and the horse fair/farmers market in Odiaxiere is well worth a visit. Portimao has a charming Sardine Festival.
However you may just want to relax on our farm. You are welcome to spend all your time here, sitting in a comfortable chair in the shade of a tree, enjoying a cold drink.
